I have always been drawn towards the simplicity and elegance of Scandinavian interiors and home décor purely because it provides inspiration for innovation. Scandinavian style is a perfect blend of elegance, rustic and functionality. It’s all about pastel color, white color space, stylish furniture design that is affordable, vintage accessories, plants or animal motifs on cushions and simple yet elegant kitchens.

I can never grow tired of Swedish interiors. It's simple, clean and never dull. The liberal use of white and pale colours, mix of old and new, use of wood, wide windows and painted furniture are some of the common aspects of Swedish décor. This kind of style is hugely influenced by the weather of Scandinavia – the long winters with lack of natural light. Swedish décor has universal appeal because it emphasizes on light, elegance and cheerful even on the darkest winter days.
